Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q-X is coming with 240Hz 1440p IPS Display

AORUS FI27Q-X is the latest gaming monitor from Gigabyte. It is a 27-inch 1440p, IPS panel monitor that is essentially a successor to the AORUS FI27Q, however, unlike its predecessor AORUS FI27Q-X has a refresh rate of 240Hz, making it one of the very few monitors out there in the market that combines both high resolution and a very high refresh rate with an IPS panel. This monitor focuses heavily on image quality and color performance making it not only ideal for gamers but also for creators as well.


So, with that being said let’s take a look at some of the key features of this monitor.

AORUS FI27Q-X is a 27-inch QHD flat-screen monitor with an ergonomic design. The metal stand that is provided with this monitor offers a wide range of height, tilt, pivot, and swivel adjustments. Another important feature of the stand is that it does not occupy unnecessary space on your desk. As far as the looks are concerned, it has a very sturdy and clean look on the front and a more gaming-oriented RGB design on the back.
AORUS FI27Q-X also offers a wide range of connectivity options as well, which includes:

  • 1x Earphone jack

PANEL & PERFORMANCE:

As we have already mentioned, AORUS FI27Q-X features an IPS panel that has a heavy emphasis on color performance and image quality. It has a 10-bit display(8-bits+FRC) which provides greater color depth and accuracy, making this monitor a viable option for creators as well.

It supports 2560 x 1440 resolution with 240Hz Refresh Rate for super-smooth gameplay and has a response time of 0.3 ms MPRT /1ms GTG which is quite impressive considering that it uses an IPS panel. The monitor is also G-Sync and Free-Sync compatible which helps in eliminating screen tearing and stuttering, giving the user a more immersive gameplay experience.

Aorus aim stabilizer: Smoothens your gameplay by reducing the motion blur.

Black equalizer 2.0: Provides greater depth to the darker areas without affecting other display areas. This feature is extremely useful for competitive gamers as it helps to spot enemies seeking cover in dark corners.

It must be noted here that when the refresh rate reaches 165Hz+, Black Equalizer will turn to version 1.0.

Active Noise Cancelling 2.0: AORUS FI27Q-X provides active noise cancellation, which neutralizes any unwanted noise.

AORUS Dashboard: The Dashboard allows you to monitor your hardware information in real-time.

AORUS OSD Sidekick: This software allows you to set up the various display options for your personalized gaming experience.

All in all, AORUS FI27Q-X is looking to be the perfect gaming monitor considering its performance and the number of features it offers. Its price, however, has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be around 800 US dollars.
