India’s first-ever tri-nation Valorant Tournament, Rooter Rise of Legends Valorant Tournament was a huge success. With a huge prize pool of ₹400,000, 16 teams from India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka faced off against each other for the crown of the champion and the lion’s share of the said prize pool.
Group Stage:
The group stages ran from 3rd to 6th June in four Round Robin Groups with the winner of each group advancing to the playoffs. The matches were played in a best-of-one format.

4 teams out of 7 Indian invites advanced to the playoffs. Velocity Gaming from Group A, Samurai Esports India from Group B, Godlike Esports from Group C, and Global Esports from Group D.
Semi-finals:
The first semi-final was between Godlike Esports and Global Esports. Global Esports, playing under team captain Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani won the best of three format matches 2-1. Haven was the final map where Global Esports dominated with a 13-3 win and Jayanth “skillZ” Ramesh was the MVP.
The second semi-final occurred between Samurai Esports India and Velocity Esports. Samurai Esports came up on top with a 2-0 score in the best of three match format. Samurai Esport’s entry fragger and captain, Simar “psy” Sethi was chosen the MVP.
3rd Place Match
Velocity Gaming won 3rd place in the tournament defeating Godlike Esports in a best of five format match. The game was without a doubt, one of the closest matches in this tournament where Velocity Gaming managed to win 13-11 in the final map of Split. Debanjan “DEATHMAKER” Das was named the match MVP.
The Finals
Two of India’s best Valorant teams, Global Esports and Samurai Esports faced off in the grand finals. Global Esports came out victorious with a score of 3-1. Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury was named the MVP with 75 kills and 148.3 ADR in the 4 maps.
