Picking up the threads from Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Resident Evil Village will be the eighth major installment in the Resident Evil series. The game is set to release for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC on May 7th, 2021. However, it seems like we don’t have to wait that long to order the game. During the official showcasing of Resident Evil Village, Capcom announced that players will be able to pre-order the game from 22nd January 2021. And of course, we are going to have a breakdown of the Collector’s Edition as well. You will be surprised to know that the Collector’s Edition of this game includes huge content.

Resident Evil Village Standard Pre-order Edition
The standard pre-order edition comes with the game itself, along with the preorder bonus listed below:

The standard edition is holding a steady price of $59.99. Though these items are also included in the Collector’s Edition.
This edition is a saver pack for those who are trying to avoid Release Day slow-downs and enjoy the game before others.

The deluxe edition comes with the game itself, along with the Trauma pack which includes:

This edition is a value pack for those who are looking to play the game early as well as get exclusive in-game items. For $10 more, a new weapon and a new difficulty level sound like a steal.
Resident Evil Village Collector’s Edition
The collector’s edition comes with the game itself, along with the Trauma pack Product Code, the standard pre-order bonus, and the following items:

- Reversible Microfiber Cloth Map
- 64-Page Hardcover Artbook
- Box
- Steelbook
Priced at $219.99, The Collector’s Edition is only available for PlayStation and Xbox. It is on sale on Ebgames and GameStop.
Resident Evil Village & Resident Evil 7 Complete Bundle
Players who missed Resident Evil 7 can now easily catch up through this digital-only complete bundle. This bundle offers both games at a low price of $79.99. But something to keep in mind is that only PlayStation players will get instant access to Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition after the purchase. Xbox and Pc players have to wait till May 7 to get both the games. Also, Resident Evil 7 is available in the PlayStation Plus Collection and on Xbox Game Pass.

Demo
During the Capcom stream, there was a surprise announcement that players who are on PlayStation 5 will be able to check out the demo of the game. They also announced that they’ll be adding demos for all other available platforms around spring 2021. The initial demo is called “Maiden” and introduces us to Alcina Dimitrescu and the daughters.
