About The Great Banquet of the Adepti Event
While the Lantern Rite event is going on, the game developers, miHoYo, have released another special event to let players enjoy their time. The best part about the game is that players can earn free primogems of up to 120, which is always a deal-maker.
In this event, the traveler goes on an adventure into the sea along with Paimon. The main objective is to collect as many Shimmering Shells as possible, which can be then utilized for various needs, especially earning Primogems.
The Great Banquet of the Adepti Event Schedule
The Great Banquet of the Adepti event in Genshin Impact 2.4 has already started, but you are not that late. There’s still a lot of progress you can make. The event started on 28th January 2022 and will go till 6th February 2022.
The Event Guide
As we have mentioned earlier, the main objective of the event is to earn as many Shimmering Shells as possible. There are currently four different ways you can do so, they are:
- Through Daily Login reward- 200 Shimmering Shells
- 2 Daily Commissions completion reward- 100 Shimmering Shells
- Using 40 Original Resin daily- 100 Shimmering Shells
- Playing the mini-game where players need to salvage treasure while on the sea- 400 Shimmering Shells
These are the 4 tasks through which you can collect Shimmering Shells in The Great Banquet of the Adepti event. Each of these tasks will reset daily, around 04:00 AM Server Time, as the limits above are for daily usage.
How to play the mini-game?
The mini-game from the last task requires players to go out on the sea with Paimon. To start, click on the bottom right ‘Ship’ icon on the event page and the mini-game will start. You will be on a ship with Paimon and have to fish out the treasures from the sea. There are different kinds of items you can fish out, each having its own value of Shimmering Shells. Some items value back to a larger quantity of Shimmering Shells so you have to prefer them over others.
This mini-game can be played thrice each day and each game will last for 60 seconds.
Shimmering Shells Usage
As you have obtained Shimmering Shells from The Great Banquet of the Adepti event, you can use them in Genshin Impact’s Serenitea Pot. There are five locations that you can unlock and these shells will be useful for that. Unlocking each location will give you Primogems as a reward.
Location Unlocking Rewards:
- Iridescent Kites – 30 Primogems
- Splendid Fireworks- 30 Primogems
- Luck and Abundance – 25 Primogems
- Wish Upon a Lantern – 25 Primogems
- Jade Delicacies – 10 Primogems
Unlocking all of these five areas in the Serenitea Pot will reward players with 120 Primogems in the game.
