Genshin Impact 2.4 update is just a few days away from officially being released and fans can not wait for it to come out. About Genshin Impact 2.4 update
Since version 2.3 rolled out, players have been enjoying all the new content it brought along. A similar scenario will be witnessed this time too as the new game update is looking great.
The developers shared a lot of insights with the version 2.4 update Livestream. They also release three redeemable codes every time, which offer free Hero’s Wit, Enchantment Ores, Moras, and up to 300 Primogems.
Release Date
The version 2.4 update was previously said to be released on 4th January 2022 at 7:00 P.M. PDT / 10:00 P.M. EST / 3:00 A.M. GMT. But the recent confirmations suggest that the new expansion will be rolled out sometime around 5th January 2022.
What’s new?
To be honest, there are a lot of new things coming with the update that we don’t know about. But as for the ones that we do know, it tells us about some new characters, new areas, game bosses, new costumes and weapons!
New Area
The Genshin Impact 2.4 update is called “Fleeting Colors in Flight”. The new area that is coming to the game is called Enkanomiya. It is a new area within Inazuma, and the unique feature about this area is that it is actually a floating island underneath the ocean waters.
This area doesn’t feature the concept of day and night and you can utilize the light from the artificial sun called Dainichi Mikoshi while you solve puzzles.
New Characters
The most exciting part about the 2.4 updates is the new characters. The first character is a five-star called Shenhe, and the second one is a four-star character named Yun Jin.
Shenhe is a Cryo Polearm user and Yun Jin is a Geo Polearm user. To know more about Shenhe and her abilities, do let us know down in the comment section.
Also, there will be 4 different banners this time. The first two are The Transcendent One Returns and the second one is the Invitation to Mundane Life. The first one features Shenhe and while both of them features Ninggauang, Chongyun, and Yun Jin.
The other two are Adrift in the Harbor and Gentry of Hermitage. They will be featured on January 26th, while the first two will be available once the update rolls out.
New Bosses
The two new game bosses will work along with one another and are called The Primordial Bathysmal Vishaps.

A brand new weapon called the Calamity Queller, which is a 5-star polearm, will be added to the game. Two new costumes for Ninggauang and Chongyun will also be introduced. New artifacts like the Snowfield and Glacier will be revealed too, which will boost Cryo users.
The Lantern Rite Festival will be returning, along with new hangout quests and much more.
