FIFA 22 is going to be released on October 1st, 2021 for PC( Origin and Steam), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. However, those who have pre-ordered the Ultimate edition will be able to play the game from 27th September 2021.
Cover Star
The 22-year old Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe is the cover star of FIFA 22. The French sensation is widely regarded as one of the top players in the world at present, and he was even on the cover of last year’s FIFA installment as well.
New Features
Although not much is known about the game yet, a few new features and upgrades have been confirmed. The most prominent of which is the implementation of the Hypermotion gameplay technology. As shown in the official reveal trailer of FIFA 22, it will essentially allow the in-game players to better replicate real-life situations, eventually making the game feel much more organic, and making the player movements both on and off the ball much more dynamic. It must be noted here that Hypermotion is exclusive to PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, and Google stadia.
Apart from it, the goalkeeper system has also been confirmed to be receiving certain changes. Volta football will also make a return with certain notable adjustments, and we will also be receiving the FIFA ultimate team heroes as well, which will allow you to relive the iconic moments of some of the best players who have ever stepped foot on a football field.
FIFA 22: Editions
FIFA 22 is available in two editions: The standard edition and the Ultimate edition. The standard edition of the game costs ₹ 2,999, while the ultimate edition of the game costs ₹ 4,299. Players who pre-order the game will also receive additional bonus content as well.
