Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has tons of powerful weapons that deal great damage in many different combat scenarios but there are other weapons as well that are completely different than any ‘Flawless’ or ‘Mythical’ status weapons. These weapons have exceptional abilities, and unlike most other weapons, when combined with proper runes and upgraded at their maximum capacity they become extremely powerful. These weapons are known as the ‘ISU’ weapons. Several ‘ISU’ weapons and artifacts have been forged and created by the ISU scientists which were kept in the city called Eden. Unlike most other weapons, ‘ISU’ weapons come directly at the mythical state.
There are currently 4 ISU weapons scattered around the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which every player needs to know :
1) Mjolnir
Mjolnir is one of the strongest ISU weapons in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It is the Legendary hammer that once belonged to Thor who was an ISU god from the great precursor race. Only the bravest warriors, properly attired, can hope to wield it.
The perk available with it is an amazing one. With every hit. The chance of stun damage on normal hits is 33% and on finisher is 100%. It looks amazing when the lightning splashes off the hammer during combat. Overall, it’s a must-have weapon for everyone who loves Thor and his hammer.
How To Find Mjolnir :
The Mjolnir can be found at Hordafylke in Norway. Players can only hope to acquire Mjolnir after gathering the complete armor set of Thor. The following mentions all the locations of the Thor armor pieces:
ARMOR PIECES | OBJECTIVE | LOCATION |
Thor’s Breaches(Pants) | Kill Goneril(Daughters of Lerion) | Grantebridgescire |
Thor’s Battle Plate(Torso) | Kill Regan(Daughters of Lerion) | East Anglia |
Thor’s Gauntlets(Bracers) | Kill Cordelia(Daughters of Lerion) | East Anglia |
Thor’s Helmet | Claim the Gear Piece | East Anglia |
Thor’s Cape | Take out all Order targets including Zealots | – |
After gathering all the armor pieces then only Eivor can wield the mighty Mjolnir.
2) Gungnir
Gungnir is the legendary spear that was once wielded by the High One who was also known as Odin. This weapon never lost its edge nor it ever missed its mark. It is a perfect weapon. The perk available with it allows the spear’s reach to be extended by a force field. If it is aligned with the proper set of runes then this weapon becomes unstoppable.
How To Find Gungnir :
Gungnir is an endgame weapon to chase. It can be only acquired after completing the Hordafylke story quest. It is a 280 power level region but it won’t be a problem for players with lower ones. The weapon is located at Hordafylke and hidden inside a cave called Goinhellir.
3) Excalibur
Excalibur is a legendary weapon that is a mythical great sword and can be only wielded by a few people who have the makings of a king. It is said that this particular sword can break anything. The perk allows the sword to blind all nearby enemies when struck with heavy finishers and critical hits.
How To Find Excalibur :
To unlock Excalibur, players need to find 8 stone tablets which are also known as “Treasures of Britain” located in caves, and 3 more tablets from three specific Zealots.
First, let us start with the name of the three Zealots who are carrying the 3 tablets and their locations :
Name of Zealot | Location |
Woden | Cent |
Heike | Essexe |
Hrothgar | Suthsexe |
Secondly, players need to find all the caves and explore them till they find the tablets in each one :
Name of the Cave | Location |
Grime’s Graves | East Anglia |
Old Cellar | Essexe |
Cavern of Trials | Cent |
Santlache Mine | Suthsexe |
Red Lichen Cavern | Hamtunscire |
Deoraby Spar Cavern | Snotinghamscire |
Wocig | Hamtunscire |
Wiccan’s Cave | Eurvicscire |
4) Noden’s Arc
The Noden’s Arc is a mysterious bow as it is mentioned in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which has been forged from an unknown material. It looks pretty much like a bow that has been created by the ISU themselves. The bow comes with a very powerful perk that allows dealing more damage the further you are.
How To Find Noden’s Arc :
The Noden’s Arc can be found on a small island within a lake all the way to the north of Eurvicscire. The lake is located at the bottom right side from the viewpoint ‘Brunton Turret’. After arriving at the island, a glowing iron ore rock will be spotted but that can’t be broken with regular methods. We don’t know if it’s a glitch or not but we are going to share exactly how it is possible to break the rock right now :
Step 1) Hit the rock for a few times.
Step 2) Save the game.
Step 3) Load the saved game.
Step 4) Hit the rock again for a few times.
Repeat this process 2 to 3 times and eventually you will see that the rock has been broken and the bow will be added to the inventory.
It is not necessary for this game to have only four ISU weapons. If questions are asked that if these ISU weapons are the only ones or not then the answer would be negative. It is because Ubisoft can add more weapons anytime in the game. It can be available in the main story arcs, DLCs, or in the side quests.
