The matchup between two promising teams from Group A of Valorant Champions really made the headlines. The series of three games initially started with the map Icebox. Vivo Keyd quickly picked up the first four rounds and proved to be dominating. The team was playing really well and pulled off some insane plays, like murizzz’s 4k pistol round.

But their quick-found victory started to diminish as Acend managed to get back on their feet. The game became intense with the current scoreline of 6-6. With this, the first half concluded and began the second half with Vivo Keyd on the Attacking side. The team managed to pull through by only giving away 3 more rounds to Acend. The first match ended with a 13-9 scoreline in Vivo Keyd’s favour.

The second match was played on the map Bind. But this time around, Acend came through pretty nicely and pulled through 9 rounds in the first half. As Vivo Keyd only managed to get 3, the second half of the game seemed clear. Vivo Keyd couldn’t secure a single round in the second half and watched Acend take the victory with a 13-3 scoreline.

This all came to the finale, the third match, which was played on Breeze. Both the teams performed very well and put up the fight for survival. But in the end, Vivo Keyd stood victorious with the 13-8 scoreline. This way, the three-match series came to an end by putting Acend in the Elimination matchup.

The Post Match Decision and Cypher’s Camera Exploit

After their match was concluded with the result of Vivo Keyd being the victors, Riot ruled out a new verdict. They explained that Jonathan “JhoW” Gloria of Vivo Keyd was convicted for using a Cypher camera exploit for their advantage in the third map. Reportedly, JhoW had used the exploit for six rounds, which were awarded to Acend, with another additional round as a penalty. This verdict ruled out the previous result, which now stands to be 13-9 in Acend’s favour.

Thus officially making team Acend the victors of the matchup against Vivo Keyd.
