A Silent Voice is a movie that everyone should watch at least once. It is a movie that takes upon the sensitive issue of bullying in school life. The story revolves around a young school student named Shoya Ishida, who bullies a deaf girl, Shouko Nishimiya, to the extreme limits that she had to exchange schools. Ultimately, when the tables turned against Ishida, he realizes his mistake and suffers from depression. In high school, he sets out to fix things with Nishimiya while facing a feeling of unworthiness and new challenges.

The Tale of Princess Kaguya is an anime based on a very old traditional Japanese tale. The story features an old man, who goes on to discover a tiny nymph within a bamboo shoot. The old man brings her to his mom, to his wife, and takes the responsibility to look after her. Through time, she grows up into a beautiful woman. She gives her possible suitors some graceful tasks to prove their true love for her. The movie gives out a great blend between two different themes of childlike happiness and adultlike blues.
